Whistler Destination Guide
There are few mountain destinations that offer the sheer variety of experiences found in Whistler.
Home to Whistler Blackcomb, North America’s largest ski resort, it combines vast terrain, exceptional snowfall and a vibrant mountain village with a sense of adventure that extends far beyond the ski lifts. Whether you’re carving freshly groomed pistes, exploring legendary tree runs after an overnight snowfall or simply relaxing beside the fire in a private mountain home, Whistler has an energy that is entirely its own.
Whistler is a destination that rewards curiosity. Whether your ambition is to ski, explore or simply spend time together surrounded by spectacular scenery, there are very few places that offer quite so much.
Skiing is Only the Beginning
For those looking beyond the resort boundaries, helicopters unlock an entirely different side of British Columbia. Within minutes, guests can find themselves standing on remote glaciers, skiing untouched powder, enjoying lunch in the middle of the Coast Mountains or simply taking in landscapes that few people ever experience. It is this access to genuine wilderness that makes Whistler unlike anywhere else in North America.
The village itself strikes a wonderful balance between sophistication and informality. Award-winning restaurants sit comfortably alongside welcoming cafés and lively après-ski venues, while beautifully designed private homes offer space, privacy and exceptional service for families and groups travelling together.
While winter remains Whistler’s defining season, the mountains continue to come alive long after the snow begins to melt. Spring introduces helicopter adventures of a different kind, from glacier sightseeing and heli-fishing to unforgettable bear viewing experiences, while summer transforms the region into one of Canada’s great outdoor playgrounds.

Why We Love Whistler
What makes Whistler so special is that it never feels limited to the ski resort itself.
Some of our favourite memories have begun by stepping into a helicopter rather than a ski lift. One day might be spent skiing untouched powder on a remote glacier, another flying into the mountains for lunch, or later in the season watching black bears emerge from hibernation in valleys that feel completely untouched.
We also love the balance Whistler offers. The skiing is exceptional, but there’s no pressure to spend every moment on the mountain. The village has a relaxed confidence, the private homes are among the finest in North America and there’s a genuine sense that every day can be entirely different from the last.
For us, Whistler is where luxury and adventure come together effortlessly.
