The Great Dolomites Ski Journey

Some ski holidays are measured by the number of runs you ski.
This one is measured by the places you discover.

The Dolomites offer something entirely different from the traditional Alpine experience. Here, each day becomes a journey through dramatic limestone peaks, hidden valleys, family-run mountain hotels and some of the finest mountain cuisine anywhere in Europe.

Rather than returning to the same chalet each evening, you travel through the mountains, carrying only what you need while everything else is quietly taken care of behind the scenes.

It is skiing at its most civilised.

Our Opinion

This is probably the most elegant ski journey in Europe. Unlike many ski holidays, the destination is never a single resort. Every day introduces another landscape, another hotel, another restaurant and another perspective on the Dolomites. What makes the experience exceptional isn’t simply the skiing—although that is superb—but the rhythm of the journey itself. Beautiful hotels, welcoming hosts, remarkable food and seamless logistics allow you to focus entirely on enjoying the mountains. For those who appreciate slow travel as much as great skiing, we can think of few better ways to experience the Italian Alps.

DOLOMITES Ski Experience
Why We Love it

This is one of Europe’s great winter journeys.

Every day feels different.

One morning begins beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Sella Group. Lunch is taken on a sunny mountain terrace overlooking Marmolada. By late afternoon you’ve crossed into another valley, where a family-run hotel, an inviting spa and exceptional regional cuisine await.

There is no rushing.

No packing ski buses.

No retracing your tracks.

Simply the quiet pleasure of travelling through one of the world’s most beautiful mountain landscapes.

It feels less like a ski holiday and more like an expedition through Italian mountain culture.
